Easter 2008

At 8 months it was Easter and Aunt Dona got him an adorable outfit to wear. Austin was 24 lbs. and 28.5 inches long at this time. He loves to spend time with his Nanny and Papa as you can see below. He was pulling himself up to standing and walking himself along the table then. He was teething so he was chewing on EVERYTHING!!! Along with mama and dada he was starting to say duck!!

Tildie and Austin

In these pictures you will see Austin and Mathilda Rose(Tildie). She was born 3 days before Austin and they spent a lot of time together during their first year. We met her parents Hannah and Troy at childbirth class before they were born. We all became fast friends and spent lots of time together. We miss all 3 of them very much.

At 7 months he was 22 lbs. and still 27.5 inches long. He was pulling himself up to standing and babbling like crazy!! My sister in law Theresa took this picture of him, she is a great photographer. He looks so serious!!!

At 6 months old he was 21 lbs. 15.5 oz. and 27.5 inches long. He was crawling, sitting up and testing baby food. He FINALLY started sleeping through the night and said MAMA for the first time!! I was so excited!!

Four Generations

I must back track a little to include this very important photo. Austin was 2 months old at the time that this was taken. This is a 4 generation photo (my Papa, my mom, me, and Austin). I never knew at the time that this would be the first and last photo I would have of us all together. Thank you Aunt April for taking this photo, if it wasn't for you I would not have it.

Benchmark Annual Dinner 2007

Every year the company I work for has an Annual Dinner at Christmas time and this year Austin got to go with us. It is the one time I can get Shane to dress up too. Don't they look handsome!!

Christmas 2007

At 5 months it was Christmas time and Austin was up to 20 lbs. and 27 inches long. He was still a little too young to know what was going on at Christmas but we had a blast with the family and got some really good pictures. By this time he was crawiling some and sitting up with little assistance. Of course DADA was his first word and this was about the time he started saying it.
